Time to Relax

Sunday's around here consists of Sunday School, church, lunch at the local cafe with my in-laws, and coming home for R&R the rest of the day. Our weekdays are usually packed with crazy schedules and lots of running, so we have try to make Sundays, a day to relax. With that said, I am not a very organized person outside of work but I have decided that the rest of my week would run a little less crazy if I planned ahead more then usual. This week I know we have two nights with things going on, Wednesday and Thursday.  Today I have given myself a personal mission. Make a pan of bars and freeze half, prep my lunches and snacks for the week (it's cool here right now so thinking a pot of soup), plan and prep what suppers I can throw in the crockpot those two nights we have stuff going on, and clean the bathroom and dining room. Now some of that doesn't sound real relaxing but I can turn on my tunes, do a little dancing while I work, and enjoy taste testing. I love the smell of home cooked meals and baked goods, having a few less things to worry about during the week, and throwing in some exercise puts me in a good mood, and in turn relaxes me. For my hubby and boys its sports (March Madness right now and NASCAR). The key, I think to de-stressing and relaxing is to do what you love with those you love to be around.
