Never a Dull Moment

It's been another busy weekend. For sometime we have wanted to put in a cement pad for our boys to play basketball on. Last week dug up a portion of our yard, and had cement poured for a basketball pad for the boys to play without consistently having to move vehicles out of the driveway. Friday night we went and picked up the new pole and yesterday my oldest who is home for Easter helped my husband dig a hole, get the sleeve set in cement, and put the pole together.  While it's been hard work it will be well worth it.

While they were busy outside, I spent the day in my kitchen baking in preparation for a week long training at work.  Every year we have a week long of what is called Agent School. Just about every agent and adjuster come from all over the state to get updated and trained on all the new changes for the upcoming year. Meals and treats are provided throughout the week. Myself and another lady at work are gluten free so I have been baking goodies to have a coffee break that we could to enjoy with everyone else. Three pans of bars and two batches of cookies, I think I'm all set.

Now it's Easter Sunday, the baskets are hidden, coffee is made, and soon we will get ready for church services, which my middle son will along with the rest of the sixth and seventh graders will put on this morning.  I feel completely blessed this morning.  Happy Easter to you and your families.
