Many of the greatest moments in my life involved stepping out of my comfort zones and having the courage to take my life in another direction. Staying in that comfort zone is easy. You know what to expect there. When I left the military, we knew where we were going, who would be there, but what we didn't know was what jobs would be available. My husband had already been employed but my employment was questionable. I had plenty of experience but no degree and finding something was difficult. This pushed me to go back to school and once again finding a career path different from what I'd previously had done.
Determination kept me going and reaching for the next goal, the next something better. You can have the courage to make changes in your life but without the determination to continue on that new path it easy to go back to where you were. I am thankful for the courage to change and the determination to see each path to its end.
