Thankful Day 3

Today I am thankful for the love of family. My family may not say it, and some may not think so, but we are always there to back each other. My parents, my brothers, my hubby and kiddos we are there for each other. Doctors, hospital stays, travel, pet sitting, kid sitting, you name it someone is always there to help out.

You see I grew up Air Force bases and moving every three to four years. My dad went in when I was a year old. My brothers and I are close in age. For most of our lives we have been each other's best friends and we're all part of the same groups. We grew up close because often we were all we had.

My kids are further a part, but I have tried keep the tight knit family I grew up with. They are all individuals. With their own groups of friends but when push comes to shove they have each other's backs.

When I started working outside of the home I made sure to tell my kids everyday I love you, see you later. It has been become a morning habit and it always makes me feel good when they say it first.

I'm so thankful for my family and the love and support they have given me over the years.  Love your families and tell them how thankful you are to have them.
