Hi, it's been a while. My name is Sherry McMasters. I have been married for 16 years to my husband, John, who drives dump truck for his family's business. My oldest, Andrew, is twenty married for the last year to Kayla and together they have made me a grandmother to Layton last summer. My middle son, Rhett, is thirteen and halfway through his eighth grade year. He along with our youngest, Josh, who is 10 and in fifth grade, keep us busy with sports, church youth groups, and school activities.
Aside from being a wife, mom, and grandma, I served in the Air Force for six years and continue to serve my community in our local American Legion. I am the director of my church's Sunday School program. I also am a Beachbody coach and work full time in an insurance office.
Life needless to say is busy, hectic, and often chaotic. Which is why I thought starting a blog would be easy. Well, I was partially right. Getting a blog started was easy enough, but making daily life interesting in writing, while trying to make it look like I have it all together was another story and part of the reason my writing has been so sparsely done.
So as we kick off this new year, I have decided to use this blog as I initially intended. A reflection of life, as crazy and sometimes boring as it may be in our small town. I can't wait to see where this year takes us.
