It’s been a while since I posted here 😬. I always seem to think that I need something profound or exciting to post before I post. I mean I want to reach and connect with people. Share my stories and life in a small town, and with three boys (two still at home) I thought I’d have plenty to write about. Then I get to thinking that not much happens. I mean it’s all “routine.” Then I went on a vacation and discovered its really not.
We are from a small town, less then 800 people small. Everyone in and out of town is considered a neighbor. There’s no stop lights and some of the roads and all the alleys are gravel. My kids will graduate with less then 15 kids in their classes and have called teachers at home. To go to Walmart, Lowe’s, or a larger grocery store is 32 miles. Tractors hold up traffic on occasion, fields of corn and beans are passed daily, and a cattle feed lot is on the edge of town.
Life for us seems routine, yet there are challenges to living in a small town. My everyday life may relate to you or at least entertain you. At least I hope so.
