You never know where life is going to lead you. When I was in high school I was certain I’d go into the field of law. Debate was something I enjoyed and thought for sure that law, argument, fighting for what I thought was right would be the direction I would go. Nope, I got married out of high school, had my oldest a year later. Divorced two years after that. The Air National Guard soon called and I remarried and went into the Active Duty soon after that. Computers and work group management became my field of expertise. I had two more boys, got out of the service, did home daycare for a while, went back to work outside of our home, now running my own business. Still not in law. Still like to debate, and argue what I think is right. And I wouldn’t change a thing. You never know where life is going to lead you but the journey is what keeps life a surprise. If everything went exactly as planned there are so many things we would miss.
